Well and Production Services Trican Well Service employs a highly technical and experienced staff and provides a comprehensive array of specialized products and services to the upstream oil and gas industry. These services are utilized in the drilling, completion, stimulation and reworking of oil and gas wells.
Industrial Services Trican's Industrial and Pipeline Services group is comprised of skilled individuals who are specialists at providing engineered and technical services to refining, petrochemical, power generation, gas processing facilities, pipeline storage and movement.
New Technology In the past three years, Trican has developed more than 60 new cementing and stimulation products, 18 coiled tubing innovations and maintained 14 patent applications. Trican applies a thorough understanding of our customers and their requirements to the development of our products, tools and procedures, while working to minimize their impact on the environment wherever it is possible to do so.
Through the skill and dedication of our nearly 80 scientists, technicians and support staff working out of our Research and Development Centre in Calgary (Canada) and in other locations around the world, we continue to discover new products and processes that enhance our service lines and respond to the needs of our customers and the industries to which we contribute.
Research and Development Trican’s 18,000 square-foot Research and Development Centre based in Calgary, Alberta, Canada is a demonstration of Trican’s commitment to continuously improving our value offering and competitiveness, to the benefit of our customers and their global operations. The extensive facility also contains an array of state-of-the-art equipment that enables our scientists, engineers and technologists to maximize the quality and effectiveness of their work.
The work performed at the R&D Centre supports Trican’s operations worldwide as products, technology and practices are developed for local implementation in all regions where we operate.
The R&D Centre houses Trican’s Stimulation and Cement laboratories as well as the Coiled Tubing tool development facilities. Research, analysis and product development are cornerstones of Trican’s growth and success, and our R&D Centre employs some of the most talented people in the industry, eager to innovate and contribute with their ideas and knowledge.
